Suffolk City Hall Flood
The first photo shows a very small portion of the work that had to be done to the Suffolk City Hall building after Hurricane Matthew came through. The building was only 2 years old and water was coming through the floor drains, which is a component of their sanitary sewer system. Water also came through the mechanical rooms, restrooms, locker rooms, water was everywhere on that west wing. SERVPRO was called in that night and started the water removal and drying process. Once everything was dry, we then sanitized the building and managed repairs. It took about 2 months from start to finish, including all repairs, but the City was beyond pleased with our work and the process overall.
